Yosef: I think this is also really important. There are different types of banks out there that cater to different types of markets. I know that in California, per se, where my practice is, you have banks that are designed to give you free checking with direct deposits. That's typically for an individual who's working for a company.

If you're a small business owner, you should not be banking with those banks, because those banks don't have the time or the resources to deal with you. You should go to a business bank. And if you'll listen carefully to the radio, or to advertisements you'll see, there are certain banks that are more small business friendly, than others.
Travis: Wow, that's a really good point.
Yosef: And it's important to start a relationship early on with those kind of banks.
Travis: That's true. The more of a personal relationship that you have with a bank, the more likely that you are to be successful in expanding your relationship with them in the future.
Yosef: That's right.
Travis: Moving on.
Yosef: One other piece of advice, by the way...
Travis: What's that?
Yosef: One of the greatest allies that you can have is a banker on your side, because bankers have a lot of flexibility and power to help you in difficult times.
